Moto G5 & G5 Plus Officialy Revealed in Leak With Complete Specs
Lenovo Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus smartphones have leaked ahead of MWC later this month. Official renders of the two smartphones gives us clear look at their design from all angles. Both devices will feature a “precision-crafted” aluminum build. Lenovo branding on the side will make its debut for the first time on Moto device.
Moto G5 is going to feature a 5″ display with 1080 x 1920 Full HD resolution with a pixel density of 441 PPI. Corning Gorilla Glass 3 will be included, and under the hood, the Moto G5 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core SoC clocked at 1.4 GHz, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage expandable my MicroSD card up to 128GB. Moto G5 is equipped with a 13MP camera at the back and a 5MP camera on the front. For connectivity G5 comes with Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 Low Energy, and 4G LTE. Included battery will be a 2800mAh. Device will support Rapid Charging so users won’t need to wait long for it to get fully charged. Moto G5 will measure 144.3 x 73 x 9.5mm and weigh in at 145 grams.
Next is the Moto G5 Plus, it will have 5.2″ display with the same 1080 x 1920 Full HD resolution and Gorilla Glass 3 protection on the front. Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 14nm octa-core chipset clocked at 2.0 GHz will be powering G5 Plus, paired with 2GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable internal storage. The rear camera will be a 12MP unit with Dual Autofocus pixels, claimed to the most advanced camera in its class. 5MP unit will be on the front same from the Moto G5. For connectivity the Moto G5 Plus will offer Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 Low Energy, NFC, and 4G LTE. A 3000mAh capacity battery will be keeping the lights on, with Motorola TurboPower fast charging technology. Moto G5 Plus will measure 150.2 x 74 x 7.9mm and weigh in at 155 grams.
Both G5 and G5 Plus will include repellent coating to protect device from water, so you won’t need to worry about damage from light splashes. Fingerprint scanner is included on both units this year, embedded inside the physical home button on the front. Devices will be available in Lunar Grey or Fine Gold colors. Both will be powered by Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box, with Motorola’s usual Android skin on top.
