LG To Implement Dual 13MP Cameras With Wide-angle Lenses On G6
LG G6 is set to be unveiled next week, and some details about camera sensors have leaked early. G6 will offer dual 13-megapixel rear-facing cameras with 125-degree wide-angle lenses, setup like that will allow users to take some beautiful panorama shots.
LG G5 and V20 shipped with dual camera setup last year, and LG is planning to keep going with same setup this year. LG explained that the G6’s 125-degree field of view is close to that of the human eye. This feature allows users to capture 360-degree panorama, just as if they were using a virtual reality camera. A new 18:9 shooting mode will also be included, it takes full advantage of the G6’s unique aspect ratio.
Square shoot images with 1:1 ratio will now also be possible, best suitable for Instagram’s new “food mode”.
Cho Jun-ho stated: “The LG G6 is equipped with a smartphone camera that goes from hardware to user experience, We will continue to take advantage of LG’s premium smartphone’s distinctive strengths. We will continue to develop.”
